Who we are

Kembeh CleanCo provides cleaning services in Birmingham and the West Midlands. We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy.

What we collect and why

• Quote requests: your name, email address, phone number (optional), the service you need, your postcode or area, property size, preferred date, how often you need cleaning, and anything else you tell us. We use these details to reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote.
• Bookings: if you book a clean, we also keep the address of the property, access instructions and our booking and payment records, so that we can carry out the work and keep proper accounts.
• Emails and calls: what you tell us when you contact us directly, so that we can reply.

We use your data to take steps you ask for before entering into a contract with you, to carry out that contract, to meet our legal obligations (for example keeping financial records), and for our legitimate interest in answering messages. We do not sell your data, and we do not send you marketing unless you have agreed to it.

Who can see your data

Your enquiry is stored on our website hosting and sent to our business email inbox. These providers store data for us and may not use it for their own purposes. We share booking details with the cleaners who carry out your job, and with our accountant where needed. If a provider stores data outside the UK, we rely on the safeguards required by UK data protection law.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries that do not lead to a booking for up to 12 months, then delete them. If you become a customer, we keep booking and payment records for 6 years, as required for tax and accounting purposes.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018) you can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to restrict or stop using it, object to how we use it, and ask for it in a portable format. Email info@kembehcleanco.co.uk and we will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
